Social Networking

If you’re a classmate, I don’t want to run you through the same words you’ve read on other classmates’ blogs. I have the same thoughts and ideas about social networking. Social networking is great for staying in touch with family, with you, and I like it at work where our CEO blogs once a week to let employees in on his life and issues as president. And, I suppose if I were single, I’d use it to find romance. It’s a great tool for letting people in.

This makes sense, I never really thought about it in work situations. what a great way to communicate in the office together.

I appreciate you not repeating what everyone else has said. I like the idea that a person uses this social networking technology on an as needed basis. If your life situation doesn't warrant it, don't use it. Otherwise, look for opportunities to take advantage.

I have had people at work request to be my friend on my facebook site. I have found that it would work if it was a work related only site, however since it has a lot of personal information I don't allow them access. This helps keep a more professional relationship.
